Jon Muench joined SCS in 2025 as a Retirement Plan Consultant. Jon entire career has been in the field of Employer Sponsored Retirement Plans – beginning in 1989 as a Pension Underwriter and has served as an Advisor/Consultant in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. Jon enjoys educating plan fiduciaries based on prudent plan management & oversight, simplifying the inherent complexities that come with these responsibilities to achieve retirement success for them and their employees.
Jon grew up in Luzerne, IA, a small rural town surrounded by countless family farms where hard work & grit were on display every day. He earned a BA in Economics from Simpson College (Indianola, IA) and has lived in West Seattle with his wife for over 30 years where they raised their now young adult son in small-town fashion.
The second youngest of 11 children, Jon enjoys traveling to family reunions in the Midwest, skiing, biking, and hiking; strolls through Lincoln Park and Alki Beach are year-round Pacific Northwest favorites.
