Human Resource/ Office Manager

Bellevue, WA

WHO WE WANT:

The Human Resource Manager will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the company’s human resource department by implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs, and practices to establish a solid foundation for the company’s emerging Human Resource department.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Partners with the senior leadership team to understand and execute the company’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Provides support and guidance to staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Prepares new team members for success by establishing and conducting new hire onboarding and orientation, in addition to specific training based on the position.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for team members.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; creates and maintains policies and practices based on compliance requirements, as well as team member and company need.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior leadership.
  • Cultivates processional and technical knowledge by attending professional development workshops and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of human resource management experience required.
  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification highly preferred.

Senior Account Manager

We are currently looking to fill the role of Senior Account Manager our Wealth Management team.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients and work with Advisor Team as contact point
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of all documentation related to client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing maintenance; help manage the workflow of all client requests
  • Coordinate with Advisor Team to track and execute any client action items
  • Preparing client meeting material when requested
  • Execute established client appreciation program such as including thank you notes and gifts.
  • Make suggestions to improve existing operational processes and procedures
  • Oversee the gathering, organization, and input of client data in the CRM (Salesforce); manage data integrity and keep records up to date

Successful Candidates will have the following skills:

  • 5+ years of client service experience in the wealth management industry
  • Securities licenses not required
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance or Business Administration)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills; ability to communicate with multiple Advisors and office staff
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate, multi-task, and manage a busy workload
  • Familiarity with custodian, broker, and money manager operations a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM also a plus
  • Reliability (core hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • Position is in Bellevue, WA Monday through Friday in the office

  • Serve as a liaison between clients, custodians, and Advisors

  • Maintain client data and notes in our CRM system

Successful Candidates will have the following skills:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience and the desire to provide superior client service in a team oriented, small-company environment
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance or Business Administration)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills; ability to communicate with multiple Advisors and office staff
  • Familiarity with custodian, broker, and money manager operations a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM also a plus
