Hunter Gietzen started in the financial services industry in early 2018. He studied Finance at Washington State University and has a passion for investing and finance. After school, Hunter joined Voya Financial as an independent advisor and spent a year there building his own book of business and learning as much as possible about how the industry operates. Using his knowledge, Hunter was able to make a very smooth transition to Sound Consulting Services and pick up right where he left off at Voya. In addition to his work with private clients, Hunter is also one of the main 401(k) Education Specialists for SCS. Hunter enjoys building real connections with his clients and feels that is one of the most important aspects of the client/advisor relationship. His service standards are very high and he makes sure he delves deeply into his clients' financial lives in order to develop efficient and prudent strategies.
Outside of work, Hunter dedicates his time to the Mukilteo Kiwanis Club in an effort to give back to the community he grew up in. He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, friends, family, and dog. He is also an avid WSU Cougars sports fan and wine enthusiast.
